A 16 Mile Circular Walk from Keswick (Part One)

Keswick Boat Landings – Castlehead Wood – Springs Wood – Rakefoot – Walla Crag – Ashness Bridge – Surprise View – Watendlath

This is my third Lake District photo gallery on Snap the Lakes. It features a 16 mile circular walk from Keswick. The walk starts from the boat landings on Derwentwater and climbs up to Walla Crag. The walk returns to Keswick through Borrowdale and alongside Derwentwater. Highlights in this section include Ashness Bridge, Surprise View and Watendlath Tarn.
