The visitor gallery is where we feature the work of other photographers.  You do not need to be an experienced photographer, if you have taken some great photographs of the Lake District, then contact submissions now!

The Visitor Gallery features the photographs of Dave Newton. Dave recently bagged all of Wainwrights 214 fells! Dave is about to retire after 30 years service in the Greater Manchester Police

Looking Towards the Solway Firth

Dave was sent on an Outward Bound course to Eskdale in 1972 and has been coming
back to the Lakes ever since.

Braithwaite & North Western Fells

It was in 1997 that he decided to add to his total of Wainwrights climbed. It then took until July this year to complete the round of the 214 fells with a climb of Grange Fell in Borrowdale.

Newlands Valley from Hindscarth

His walking is almost exclusively in the Lakes with occasional forays into the Peak District, the Dales and the Wolds Way.  Dave discovered digital cameras four years ago and has moved from the Kodak 240 to the Kodak 290 and now to the Nikon 995. He is already looking at another change, and is considering the Nikon 5700.

Dave say's "I love photography and the Lakes is always a patient and beautiful subject from where I've accumulated about 4000 photographs".
