St Sunday Crag Andy say's 'The Lake District fells are in my blood. My parents were huge fans of the area and as a child I spent holiday after holiday tramping the fells and exploring the valleys, mainly using Ennerdale as a base'. |

The Langdale Pikes Although he rebelled against the very concept "walking holiday" as a teenager he had, unknowingly, been infected with the bug and so I eventually rediscovered the Lake District for himself as an adult, going there on honeymoon in his twenties. |

Derwentwater Since that visit he and his wife have been back at least once a year. They discovered Wainwright, and have spent the last five years busily ticking off one peak after another. Andy say's 'One of the main thrills for me of such "peak bagging" is the way you always see something new and get to explore the more remote parts of the district; for example, this summer we discovered the Wythop Valley, something of a hidden gem'. |

Great Calva Photography has always been something that Andy has enjoyed but it was after the purchase this year of his first digital camera (a Canon Cybershot DSCP-72) that he really began taking it more seriously.
